In the parish of Xaviña is the busiest beach in Camariñas. Ariño has spectacular views of the estuary and is surrounded by a peaceful pine forest with tables, benches and barbecues. Quiet and familiar, it is 1,160 m long and 30 m deep. Ariño is also an area of great seafood wealth that is exploited by the Confraría de Camariñas Association. Shellfishing on foot is one of the oldest ways of extracting sea products in the world. It is manual work, without any kind of mechanical support.

MONUMENT TO THE LACE EXHIBITION
The stone letters that form the name of Camariñas pay homage to the Mostra do Encaixe, which has been held every Easter since 1990.
VIRXE DO CARME CHAPEL
