MONTE BLANCO / dune
Discover the highest rampant dune on the peninsula, home to the largest reserve of the endangered caramiñas bushes, in an unspoilt area between beaches.
In the Trece cove, and on one of the slopes of Monte Branco, rises the highest rampant dune on the peninsula, at 150 metres. At the foot of the dune grow the caramignes (Corema album). The name of the municipality comes from these endangered shrubs, which have the largest reserve in northwest Spain. The most unspoilt area of Camariñas lies between the beaches of Trece and the dune of Monte Branco.
