Discover an intriguing bear-shaped rock formation, much photographed and famous for its mysterious disappearance in 2003. A natural landmark not to be missed.

It is a stone structure in the shape of a bear on a flat base. This figure is one of the most photographed places in Camariñas and attracts the attention of visitors. Part of its current fame is due to the fact that in 2003 the stone mysteriously disappeared from its location. A few days after being alerted to the theft, the figure was located in A Coruña, the city to which it had been transported to be used as an ornament for a new building. The Pedra do Oso returned to Reira without one of its legs, although the event helped to enhance the value of this natural monument.
