The end of the fourth stage of the Lighthouse Way, Arou is a small, picturesque village, an example of the self-sufficient economy of the area, with boats and fish traps mixed with small orchards and granaries for storing harvests. It enjoys a white sandy beach and calm waters, flanked by a promenade and its own small harbour.
