Witness to this is the Vilán lighthouse—a landmark in the history of navigation and the first in Spain to use electric light—and the more than fifty shipwrecks that have occurred off the coast of this municipality. There is nothing better than imagination and storytelling to summarise, in an enjoyable way, part of the historical references about these shipwrecks. For this reason, the route offers audio stories that can be downloaded via QR, in which historical facts and legends merge and which can be enjoyed by the sea thanks to Augmented Reality technology.
